Advani to be present on Mahajan's first death anniversary

Mumbai, May 1 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani, along with senior BJP stalwarts, will be present here on the first anniversary of the death of former BJP leader late Pramod Mahajan on May 3.

A book on the life of the late Mahajan, ''A Leader with vision,'' by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, will also be released on the occasion at Shanmukananda hall at Matunga in north central Mumbai.

The book, containing various articles on leader by eminent people, also includes speeches made by him.

BJP general secretary and brother-in-law of the late Mahajan, Mr Gopinath Munde and state BJP president Nitin Gadkari would be among those present on the occasion.

Pramod Mahajan was shot at by his younger brother Pravin at his residence at Worli here on April 22.
