5 killed, 12 injured in road accident

Lucknow, May 1 (UNI) At least five people died and 12 others were injured in a tempo-bus collision in the nearby Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said the accident took place between Shuklaganj and Magarwara in Kotwali area of Unnao.

Five persons died on the spot, while the injured were later taken to hospital, where the majority of them were stated to be critical.

A case had been registered.
