Usher Agro Ltd posted 233 per cent net profit

Mumbai, Apr 30 (UNI) Usher Agro Limited, an agri-processing company today posted a net profit of 233 per cent to 1.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, as compared to Rs 41.58 lakh in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Vinod Kumar Chaturvedi, Managing Director of the company said ''The company is planning to expand its operations, which will be completed by the end of this year.'' ''Expansion of rice milling capacity will further consolidate the company's position in the sector and will add a turnover of Rs 190 crore and profit of Rs 20 crore on optimum capacity utilisation,'' he added.
