Bhopal, Apr 30 (UNI) Scotching rumours about a possible return to the BJP, Bhartiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti today sought RSS' intervention to check the 'repressive measures' unleashed by BJP against her supporters and announced that she would soon launch 'Parivartan Yatra' to unseat the party from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

''Even as the Sangh's soft corner for its pet offspring, the BJP was well known, it should stop extending support to the party which lost its relevance after drifting away from its ideology but continuing its tirade against pro-Hindu outfits like the BJS'', the Sadhvi announced at a public rally at Neelam Park here to mark the first anniversary of the formation of the BJS.

''Propaganda was being undertaken in a calculated manner on the possibility of my return to the BJP. However, the BJS would carry on with its pro-Hindu agenda and it would not be surprising if the BJP merged with the BJS '', the expelled BJP leader said.

''As part of its strategy to unseat the BJP from power in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the 2008 elections, 'Parivartan Yatras' (rallies for change) would be launched in these states from May 15'', Ms Bharti said.

Charging that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh had backtracked on its poll promises, the former Chief Minister called upon her supporters to observe a one-day fast as a token of repentance for ''ditching the electorate''.

Ms Bharti clarified that the BJS had withdrawn its candidates for the Uttar Pradesh elections on the suggestion of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal as part of a strategy on the Ram temple issue. She denied that her party was anti-Muslim.
