Two drown in Cauvery river

Mandya, Apr 30 (UNI) Two youths were feared drowned in river Cauvery when they went for a swim at Muthatathi in this district today.

Police said the victims, who were college students, were identified as Manjunath(19) and K N Murali(19) from Bangalore.

In all ten youths had come to the picnic spot in five motor bikes after attending a marriage. The two who went for a swim were caught in a whirlpool. The bodies were yet to be recovered, police said.
