Two dreaded NLFT rebels returns to normal life

Agartala, Apr 30 (UNI) Two more banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) rebels bade farewell to the jungle wars and returned to normal life.

According to police sources, two ultras of NLFT aged between 22 and 29 surrendered yesterday before the 15 Assam rifles authorities at Karbook under Amarpur sub-division of South district. The insurgents deposted .303 rifle, ten round bullets and ten 7.62 SLR bullets, sources said.

With these two surrenders, in all 45 militants of various outfits, have returned to the mainstream, biding farewell to insurgency.
