Two die as bus overturns near Vidyapati Chowk

Lakhisarai (Bihar), Apr 30 (UNI) At least two people were killed and 12 others seriously injured when a bus in which they were travelling overturned near Vidyapati Chowk under town police station area in the district today.

The incident occurred when the driver lost control near Vidyapati Chowk, while they were on their way to Bihat in Begusarai from Piparia in Lakhisarai district, police said.

The injured were undergoing treatment at a local hospital, police added.

The deceased were identified as Anil Das and Sanjay Das.

The matter was being investigated, police said.
