Three killed, 5 injured in water tank collapse at Nanded

Nanded, Apr 30 (UNI) Three persons, including a civil engineer, were killed on the spot and five others seriously injured when an underconstruction water tank collapsed on them at village Atala in Dharmabad tehsil of the district.

The deceased were identified as Basavraj Shirpuje (engineer), Kishore Navre and Shahabaz Khan, both labourers. The mishap occurred at midnight, police said today.

All the injured have been admitted to the Guru Govind Singh Medical College and Hospital here.

A case of accidental death has been registered at the Dharmabad police station, they added.
