Subba Rao is new Secretary DEA

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Dr Subba Rao will be the new Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Finance.

Mr Ashok Jha, who was till now Secretary in the DEA, retires today. Dr Rao will replace Mr Jha.

Dr Rao's appointment has been cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. He is a 1972 IAS from Andhra Pradesh cadre.
