Faizabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Samajwadi Kranti Dal (SKD) president and disgruntled ruling Samajwadi Party leader Beni Prasad Verma today said the dreams of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav to retain power in the state would not come true.

''SP will fare badly in the ongoing state assembly election,'' he told UNI here.

''This election would show the real status of Mr Yadav,'' he added.

Praising AICC chief Sonia Gandhi, the SKD chief said ''she is enriched with high morals, therefore, she refused to accept the post of the country's Prime Minister after the last general election.'' ''After deliberating for long, I have decided to support Congress. It is also supporting SKD candidates in the UP poll,'' Mr Verma claimed.

Flaying BJP, he said that instead of development, the party was ''breaking'' society. ''It has never respected the ideals of Lord Ram,'' he noted, adding that the BSP was selling party tickets.

Recalling his long ties with the Ayodhya assembly seat, he promised to give priority to the area's development, if the Congress-SKD alliance wins the UP election.
