SINGAPORE, Apr 30 (Reuters) Singapore Airlines today said following a security review it has decided to fly to and from the Sri Lankan capital only during daylight.

The announcement came a day after the Colombo airport was bbriefly closed after a Tamil Tigers rebel air raid on fuel facilities near the city.

Singapore Airlines, the world's biggest airline by stock market value, said all services to and from Colombo are currently at night and will be rescheduled to the day from Tuesday after a ''security review''.

The airline declined to reveal further details.

Sri Lankan Tamil Tiger rebel planes bombed two oil facilities near Colombo yesterday, causing minor damage and tripping air defences, the Sri Lankan air force said.

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd and Emirates have also suspended flights to and from Colombo, the only international airport in Sri Lanka.
