Sakthi Sugars unit buys Europe castings maker

New Delhi, Apr 30: Sugar producer Sakthi Sugars Ltd today said itswholly-owned unit has acquired precision castings maker, INTERMETEurope, which operates two plants in Germany and one in Portugal.

The company has finalised the deal through its subsidiary Sakthi Auto Component Ltd (SACL).

INTERMET Europe is engaged in the business of manufacture ofprecision castings in ductile iron for automotive industry, with atotal production capacity of 1,65,000 million tonnes per annum.
