Tamil Nadu: Rowdy killed by friend at Pallavaram

Chennai, Apr 30: A notorious rowdy element was murdered by his friend at suburb Pallavaram early today.

Police said, the deceased rowdy element Vasudevan (35) of Chrompet, accused in 14 cases including two murder cases pending against him, had a quarrel with his friend Liquat Ali Khan of Pallavaram on some personal affairs, in which the later attacked him with an iron rod. He died on the spot.

Soon after this, Liquat Ali Khan surrendered before the Pallavaram police.

Police rushed to the spot and took the body to the Government Hospital Chrompet for post-mortem.
