Nucleus Software Q4 net up 28 pc

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) IT company Nucleus Software Exports Ltd today said their net profit soared to 27.98 per cent at Rs 13.95 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2007 compared to Rs 10.90 crore in the same period last year.

The company also declared a dividend of 35 per cent at Rs 3.50 per share.

For the Jan-March quarter, the company revenues was worth Rs 60.16 crore as compared to Rs 42.09 crore during the corresponding quarter a year ago, Nucleus Software Exports Managing Director Vishnu R Dusad told reporters here.

Operating Profit (Interest, Depreciation and withholding taxes) stood at 22.25 per cent at 13.83 crore for Q4FY07 as against 11.31 crore over the same period last fiscal, Mr Dusad said.

The Board of Directors has also approved the issue of Bonus Shares in the ratio of 1:1, company's Chief Financial Officer Pramod K Sanghi told reporters.

The company has bagged 22 new orders, added 21 new customers and 486 employees this fiscal, Mr Sanghi added.
