Modi govt has brought disrepute to Guj: Nalin
Gandhinagar, April 30 (UNI) Former BJP state minister Nalin Bhatt today said the Modi government has brought disrepute to Gujarat on the eve of its foundation day after the government's admission of Kausarbibi's killing before the Supreme court today.
He demanded to know why Mr Modi, who calls himself 'Hindu Hriday Samrat' (champion of Hindu rights), was keeping quiet over the murder of Tulsiram Gangaram Prajapati, a witness in the fake encounter of Sohrabuddin.
''With the killing of Tulsiram Gangaram Prajapati coming out of the closet, will there be more such cases tumbling out where the victims have been Hindus?'' he asked in a release here.
Apart
from
this,
he
sought
answers
to
questions
like
why
was
Kausarbibi
killed
in
the
first
place,
was
any
charge
framed
against
her
and
why
was
her
body
set
ablaze.
''If
police
officers
were
involved
in
the
crime,
then
who
gave
them
the
information
and
the
go-ahead?
Were
the
officers
themselves
killers?
Why
has
the
government
not
handed
over
the
case
to
the
CBI?
and
why
is
the
five
crore
people
of
Gujarat
kept
in
the
dark?''
