Life imprisonment to a kidnapper

Bokaro, Apr 30 (UNI) A fast track court today awarded life sentence and a fine of Rs 500 to a person for kidnapping a six-year-old child in this district.

According to prosecution Punit, son of one Rajesh Kumar, resident of Chas police station area, was abducted by Kundan Kumar of Tara Nagar locality under same police station area on January 3, 2006.

Acting on a tip off police recovered the boy from Delhi after conducting several raids and the accused surrendered before the court on January 8, 2006 due to police pressure.

The court of Sanjit Kumar sentenced life term to the culprit after he was found guilty.
