Kobelco Excavators enters India

Hyderabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Kobelco Excavators, a globally reputed construction equipment manufacturer, today announced their entry into the country by starting marketing operations for its latest range of hydraulic excavators.

In a statement, Kobelco Executive Director Kenji Sakamoto said ''supported by a burgeoning demand driven by fast-paced infrastructural investment for improvement of roads, airports, seaports, and the power sector, the market for construction equipment in India is experiencing steady growth.

''The demand is projected to expand even further over the coming years and this is the reason why we have ventured into India to bolster our sales and services in the country.'' The company planned to focus on major market areas of the country through a network of technically-strong dealers. He informed that dealers in most of the states had been finalised and the first dealer to be operational was Automotive Manufacturers Limited located in the largest market of the country in Andhra Pradesh.
