Khandu urges workers to rededicate and work together
Itanagar, Apr 30 (UNI) ''Workers are the heart and soul of our country and it is our responsibility to meet the challenges of the ever demanding environment,'' Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu said today.
On the occasion of the International Labour Day, the chief minister conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh in general and to the worker brethrens in particular.
''It is also the responsibility of each and every member of the workforce to improve the quality of the goods and services produced,'' Mr Khandu said, adding that his government remained committed to fostering an environment where 'innovation succeeds and opportunity thrives'.
''We are emphasising education and training for our workforce and partnership between workers and management. We will continue to work toward developing sound economic policies and create more jobs for our people,'' he added.
''As we celebrate the many contributions of our workers, let us rededicate ourselves and resolve to work together hand in hand. By working harder each day, we can build better lives for our families and ourselves and make Arunachal a self-sufficient state,'' Mr Khandu concluded.
