India's reputed colleges coming to Mizoram
Aizawl, Apr 30 (UNI) Now the parents and students in Mizoram will not have to venture out to seek admissions to colleges of their choice.
The Edufest, 2007, to be held between May two and three, would play host to 40 colleges of India and abroad.
''So far, 32 colleges have confirmed their participation, and we are expecting more entries. Apart from admission, there will be on-the-spot counselling on career and lucky tickets for fabulous prizes,'' Zalen Editor Vanlalrema Vantol said here today.
More than one thousand students from Mizoram venture out every year for pursuing higher studies.
Global Reach, a consultancy firm, is one of the sponsors of the Edufest. Established in 1991 as Overseas Education Consultant in Eastern India, Global Reach has tied up with University of Melbourne, University Monash, University of Queensland, University of New South Wales, University of Adelaide, Australian National University, University of Western Australia, Australian Technological Network (ATN), RMIT, UTS, Curtin University of Technology and University of South Australia among others.
The arrangement of the Visa for the students are done by Global Reach, the Edufest organisers said.
