I am not against any individual, clarifies Sibal

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal today clarified that by releasing the list of allottees of land by the Mulayam Singh Government from the discretionary quota in Uttar Pradesh, he did not mean to raise individual allegations against them.

Replying to a question at a press conference on the reaction of former Chief Justice Y K Sabharwal to his name figuring in the list, Mr Sibal said ''I am not making allegations against individuals. I am giving facts what is already there in public domain.'' ''I have great respect for judges and judiciary,'' he asserted.

''I am in the active politics for the last so many years and till now I have not raised allegations against individuals,'' Mr Sibal said.

Mr Sibal said, ''I was accusing Mulayam Singh Government of allotting land to VIPs and VVIPs by misusing the discretionary quota and have nothing against any individual allottee.'' He added that he had raised the issue only in principle and it was not directed against anyone.
