Genpact launches GenLeanSM tool to accelerate SAP

Mumbai, Apr 30 (UNI) Genpact, a business services and technology solutions provider, today announced the launch of its GenLeanSM upgraded toolkit to accelerate SAP software.

The tool uses 'Lean Six Sigma' methods for substantially reducing the cycle time of SAP upgrades.

Genpact Senior Vice President (Software Solutions) Manish Soman said ''Custom developments lose functionality and become unstable due to loss of referential integrity. The GenLean toolkit has been built on Lean concepts and is aimed at managing the referential integrity issues, reducing cycle time and defects in SAP upgrades.'' Soman said the Genpact toolkit has various modules to address accurate upgrade analysis and assessments of the system, automated tools for remediation of custom objects, and authorization rationalization.
