Former AIADMK minister surrenders
Madurai, Apr 30 (UNI) Former AIADMK Minister Inbathamizhan, accused in the murder of a DMK functionary at Srivilliputtur, surrendered before a judicial magistrate here today.
Inbathamizhan, who was a minister in the previous AIADMK Government, surrendered before Judicial Magistrate-I Ms Sundari, this morning.
On being remanded in custody till May seven, he was lodged in the Central Prison here. He was among the 12 arraigned in the murder of Annadurai Selvan, husband of Srivilliputtur Municipal Chairperson Sundari on January 27.
The other accused included his three brothers Thangamangani, Aanazhagan and Veeran.
After the murder, police had nabbed Aanazhagan. Efforts were on to nab the other criminals.
