Child drowns in vessel

Barwani, MP, Apr 30 (UNI) In a freak mishap, a two-year-old girl has drowned in a water vessel while trying to retrieve a submerged object at Rasgaon in the district, police said.

Priyanka drowned yesterday afternoon in the presence of three more kids, of about the same age, who attempted to rescue the girl and subsequently informed family members who were not in the vicinity.

The girl died before they arrived on the scene.
