Can Fin Homes net up by 12 p c

Bangalore, Apr 30 (UNI) Home credit major Can Fin Homes, today reported a 12 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 30.1 crore for the year ending March 31, 2007.

Announcing the results company Director K Subba Rao said in a release here that the operational profit of the company was Rs 46.17 crore, a 19 per cent surge compared to Rs 38.72 crore during the previous fiscal. Net profit for the year 2005-06 was Rs 26.95 crore, he said.

Disbursement during the just ended fiscal rose to Rs 453 crore, taking the cumulative disbursements to Rs 4234 crore. The cumulative sanction of the company grew to Rs 4899 crore. The asset base of the company was now at Rs Rs 1941, the official said.

The earning per share went up to Rs 14.70 from Rs 13.16 during the previous period. The Board had recommended a dividend of 25 per cent. ''Our key focus area is to maximise our business volumes through quality assets,'' Mr Rao added.
