BJP to adopt resolution in MCD House to provide amnesty to all

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party will adopt a resolution in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for providing amnesty to all and forward the Amnesty scheme immediately to the Centre for implementation, a measure aimed at saving Delhi from sealing and demolition.

Further, in order to enable the people of Delhi to live with honour, a ground survey will be conducted for including many new roads for categorising them as mixed use and commercial streets, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Harsh Vardhan informed mediapersons here.

Dr Harsh Vardhan called upon people of Delhi, traders and industrialists that they should immediately inform in writing to the Deputy Commissioner of the area, members of the Standing Committee, BJP Delhi Pradesh office or to the BJP Councillors about those roads on which there is more than 50 per cent commercial activity and where more than 70 per cent is under commercial use for including them as mixed land use and commercial use streets.

The Municipal Commissioner has been directed to conduct a comprehensive survey of Delhi for including non notified roads in the mixed land use and commercial category in addition to already notified 2183 and 355 roads. He told that new roads shall be notified soon so that the sword hanging on the heads of the people doing business on these roads may be removed forever.
