BJP sees sinister design behind attack on Christian preacher

New Delhi, Apr 30 (UNI) The BJP today said there seemed to be a conspiracy to defame Vasundara Raje government behind the attack on a Christian preacher in Jaipur, allegedly by some masked men.

BJP Parliamentary Party spokesman Vijay Kumar Malhotra said he had talked to the Rajasthan Chief Minister and she said there was something "more than meets the eye" into the incident and the truth would come out soon.

Mr Malhotra said state police was investigating the attack.

Some suspects had already been picked up, he said.

He said it was too early to blame any organisation for the attack. The Left Parties have alleged that Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists were behind the attack.
