B.I.N BANK selects TCS and FNS for core banking solution

Mumbai, Apr 30 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting, business solution and outsourcing organisation, today announced that its Australia based subsidiary FNS has signed a multi-million dollar agreement to supply BANCKS core banking software to Russian Federation based B.I.N BANK.

This announcement follows on the success of FNS BANCS core banking solution recently being awarded the top retail position in the 2006 IBS Sales League Table, a release issued here today said.

B.I.N BANK will replace its core banking system with BANCS modules for retail, trade, treasury, deposits, loans, payments, cards, and branch delivery to provide online, real time transaction processing and reporting across multiple channels, the release said.

Established in 1993, B.I.N BANK has a growing network of 26,500 corporate customers and a retail customer base of 139,000. The banks modern banking portfolio comprises over 2,490 ATMs, 32 self-service terminals, and approximately 140 000 payment cards, the release added.
