AP: NCP to launch Telangana movement
Hyderabad, Apr 30: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) youth wingVice-President Manish Gadje today said his party was planning to launchTelangana movement, supporting the separate statehood of the backwardTelangana region.
Speaking to newspersons here, Mr Gadje said the NCP was supportingseparate Telangana and the party had already expressed its solidaritywith the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) which was fighting for thecause of the region.
The NCP would launch a struggle for separate Telangana with thesupport of the like-minded parties in future. The party wanted tostrengthen itself in Andhra Pradesh by launching several movements infuture, he added.
Mr Gadje said the party had appointed Venugopal Rao as NCP Andhra Pradesh youth wing President.
