Air Marshal Mehra calls on Gujarat Governor

Gandhinagar, Apr 30 (UNI) Outgoing AOC-in-C of SWAC Air Marshal P K Mehra today paid a courtesy call on Gujarat Governor Nawal Kishore Sharma.

Both the dignitaries exchanged pleasantaries here at Raj Bhavan, an official release from Raj Bhavan said.

Air Marshal Mehra got commissioned in IAF in 1968 and had taken part in 1971 operations, flying Hunter aircraft from Hasimara and Kumbhigram.

He retired from service today and handed over the charge to Air Marshal K D Singh, the release added.
