Workers plan to hold a rally on may day
Mysore, Apr 29 (UNI) The Karnataka State government Daily Wage and Honoraria Employees Federation will hold a massive rally in the city as part of May Day.
Federation President Pramod Chikkamannuru told newsmen here today that more than 5000 workes from across the state would take part in the rally on May one demanding the regularisation of their service accoring to the Supreme Court order in 2006.
The SC order had said that the employees who joined the government service after 1984 on daily wage have to be regularised.
The order had also included a few conditions which have been fulfilled by the daily wage employees, he said.
However, instead of abiding by the Court's order the government continued its lethargic attitude, he alleged.
