US says nine troops killed in Iraq over two days
Baghdad, Apr 29: The US military said nine soldiers had been killed in Iraq in last two days.
Four were killed by roadside bombs in separate attacks south and southeast of Baghdad today, the military said in a statement.
Three soldiers and two Marines were killed on Friday in combat in western Anbar Province, it said.
April has been the deadliest month for US soliders in Iraq this year. The latest deaths raise to nearly 100 the number of US soldiers killed this month.
