Unclaimed suitcases cause panic

Chennai, Apr 29 (UNI) Two unclaimed suitcase caused panic among staff members, security and air passengers at Anna International Airport here midnight last night.

Police said that the suitcases were noticed by a CISF personnel at the departure area who alerted higher-ups.

Anti-bomb squad personnel came to the spot and removed the suitcases. They opened them with utmost care but found no explosives.

They had some dresses and other cosmetics.

Later the suitcases were handed over to Airport Manager,police said.
