Two killed, 6 injured in accident near Patni Top

Jammu, Apr 29 (UNI) At least two people were killed and six others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into a nullah near the famous Patni Top hill resort on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway today, police sources said.

The accident occured when the vehicle fell nearly 400 feet down into a nallah after the driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve at Kasso Morh, sources said.

The deceased were identified as Gurjeet Singh (driver) of Bishna (Jammu) and Kulwinder Singh of Ludiana (Punjab).

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital at Batote.
