TNTWA members takes out rally
Chennai, Apr 29 (UNI) Members of the Tamil Nadu Two Wheelers Association (TNTWA) led by Advocate Rajyalakhshmi took out a rally in the city today, protesting against the Tamil Nadu governments move to make helmet wearing by the two wheeler riders compulsory.
They shouted anti-government slogans and broke few helmets to register their protest.
Ms Rajyalakhshmi told newspersons that wearing helmet would not only create hazards to human health but give other practical problems as well.
They appealed to the government to withdraw the decision to make helmet wearing cumpulsory, from June this year.
