Shifting of Darbar from Jammu to Srinagar start

Jammu, Apr 29 (UNI) The shifting of civil secretariat, known as the darbar move, from winter capital Jammu to summer capital Srinagar began today under tight security.

The shifting is being done under very tight security, in which road opening party (rop) by the state police is being sent from Jammu to Srinagar, sources said adding that troops of army and paramilitary forces have also been deployed.

Thousands of government officials and huge quantity of official documents will move to the winter capital during next few days by trucks provided the by state transport department.

The government employees from kashmir valley have left for srinagar while jammu-based employees will move out on may 5, before the darbar is opened.
