Senior IAS officer's body brought to Bhopal
Bhopal, Apr 29 (UNI) The mortal remains of senior IAS officer Vijay Patidar were conveyed here by a regular aircraft.
His last rites would be performed at his home town Kasravad in Ratlam district tomorrow.
Mr Patidar had passed away recently in Houston in the US where he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's secretary S P S Parihar and other administrative and police officers were present at the Raja Bhoj Airport.
His mortal remains were taken to his residence in Arera colony here where it would placed for people to pay their last respects.
Bharatiya Jan Shakti President Uma Bharti, BJS General Secretary Prahlad Patel and former legislator Shailendra Pradhan and other prominent citizens went to his residence to pay tributes.
