Scolded by step-mother, boy consumes poison

Lucknow, Apr 29 (UNI) Peeved over a dressing down by his step-mother, a 10-year-old boy allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Malihabad area here.

Police said Shiv Kumar of village Mataulihaar was chided yesterday by his step-mother.

The aggrieved boy consumed poison and died.

Meanwhile, a case had been registered and investigations were on.
