Respite to Delhiites as mercury dips by 2.4 degrees
New Delhi, Apr 29 (UNI) The mercury today dipped by 2.4 degree Celsius, giving much needed respite to Delhiites after the capital recorded the hottest day of the month at 42.4 degree Celsius yesterday.
The maximum temperature was recorded at 40 degree Celsius, four degrees above normal, said the weatherman.
Today being a holiday, most of the people remained indoors.
Tomorrow there would be a clear sky with dust storms in the evening, the spokesman said.
