Protests against CWDT's final award still on
Mysore, Apr 29 (UNI) Dharnas, road and rail roko agitations have become part and parcel of the day for the last 84 days in Cauvery basin regions, following Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal's (CWDT) final award.
In Mandya district today, the farmers and other organisations continued with their dharna at Silver Jubilee Park led by Cauvery Raitha Hitarakshana Samithi President G Made Gowda.
Meanwhile, the Cauvery Krishna Kriya Samithi, which was undertaking awareness 'Jatha' in Mandya district, visited various villages giving details on the impact of the Cauvery award.
Dharnas continued in the Mandya, Maddur, Srirangapatna and Pandavapura.
The Cauvery Kriya Samithi also continued its signature campaign against the final award at K R Circle in the city.
