Priest stoned to death, 'ashtadhatu' idols stolen

Lucknow, Apr 29 (UNI) Robbers stoned a priest to death and decamped with 'ashtadhatu' idols of an ancient Radha Krishna temple in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh.

The incident occurred late last night in Kulha village. After brutally killing the priest Shiv Prasad, the burglars decamped with the precious idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha.

A search has been launched, police said.
