Delhi BJP demands Sheila's resignation on water issue
New Delhi, Apr 29 (UNI) The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today staged demonstrations in front of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) offices at various places, demanding dismissal of the Sheila Dikshit government for its failure to supply sufficient water to the public.
Delhi Unit BJP Chief Harsh Vardhan, who led the demonstrations, said the state government was not taking any steps to solve the drinking water problem in the capital.

The Chief Minister is the Chairperson of the DJB and the tender could not have been awarded to a particular contractor without her knowledge, the BJP leader said.
Other leaders, including Pawan Sharma, Ramesh Vidhuri, Vijay Jolly, Vijay Goel, participated in the demonstrations at DJB offices in Jhandewalan, Ghantaghar, Sabzi Mandi and Shakti Nagar Chowk.
