CPI (M) demands judicial inquiry into passport racket

Tirupati, Apr 29: CPI (M) Andhra Pradesh unit secretary B V Ragavulu today demanded the government order a judicial inquiry into the passports racket allegedly involving MPs and MLAs.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Ragavulu, who was here to participate in party's district committes meeting, said stringent action should be taken against those involved in the racket.

The meeting had decided to demand the government to distribute one lakh acres of surplus land to the poor, he added.
