BJP will regain power in UP: Arun Jaitley
Allahabad, Apr 29 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and national secretary Arun Jaitley today asserted that his party would win the ongoing Uttar Pradesh assembly poll with a thumping majority.
''The party has revived its lost glory and would definetely come to power in UP,'' the BJP leader said talking to reporters here.
Citing the party's victory in Punjab, Uttarakhand, besides the recently concluded MCD polls in the national capital the BJP leader observed that the wrong strategies and corrupted administration of the Centre was directly benefitting the BJP.
Flaying the Congress-ruled UPA regime for terrorism and price hike, Mr Jaitley alleged that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh lacks "political charisma." ''The Congress has failed on every front, whether it is economic, security or administration and the party would definitely loose the forthcoming elections in Goa, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh,'' he added.
Lambasting Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav for poor governance, he said the former has only given way to crime in UP.
Denying any collaboration with SP in any manner, Mr Jaitely urged the people to vote for the BJP.
