Bina project to complete by 2009: Gaur
Sagar, MP, Apr 29 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Commerce and Industries Minister Babulal Gaur today said work on the much-awaited Bina refinery project will be completed by 2009.
Mr Gaur told reporters here that factories for by-products will also be set up in the refinery at a cost of Rs 5,000 crore.
Ninety per cent of the employees for the factories would be recruited from the state.
He said work had begun on the Rs 8,000 crore Ken-Betwa river-linking project, which was expected to irrigate about six lakh hectare land and produce 50 MW power.
Mr Gaur said directions had been issued to the Collector for reducing registration fee for re-starting closed and sick units.
The minister said a private arrangement should be set up here for water arrangements on the lines of Dewas. The government would provide grant for it in this regard.
