Puducherry, Apr 29 (UNI) AIADMK State Secretary A Anbazhagan today urged the administration to take serious note of the allegations by AICC General Secretary V Narayansamy on the movement of LTTE in Karaikal region of the union territory.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Anbazhagan recalled the party's statement on the propoganda taken out by the banned terrorists outfits in Puducherry and the selling of their books, cassettes and other materials in the meeting attended by the Puducherry ministers. However, no attention was paid to the statements and since it is a responsible politician and a general secretary of the ruling party at the Centre, his charges should not be taken lightly and the administration should conduct a thorough inquiry through the special branach police or the Intelligence Bureau. If necessary, Mr Narayansamy himself should be asked for further details, he added.

Taking strong exception to Mr Narayansamy's statement yesterday that the Lt Governor should not be criticised by the legislators, Mr Anbazhagan said several ruling party members had stated that several welfare schemes of the people such as free rice, provision of money for construction of houses to the tsunami affected were ''stalled'' by the Lt Governor and Union Home Minister Shivraj V Patil.

Moreover, the Lt Governor was adopting different stands on different occasions in the promotion of senior officals here and hence, Mr Narayansamy had no right to advise the legislators not to criticise the Lt Governor. In the OBCs quota reservation issue, even the Supreme Court judges were subjected to criticisms in the Tamil Nadu Assembly and Parliament, he added.

Mr Anbazhagan also urged the administration to scrap the entrance examination for admission into professional colleges here on the lines of Tamil Nadu.
