Admin reshuffle in Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Apr 29: In an administrative reshuffle, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred 14 IAS officers, including eight district collectors.

Collectors have been posted in newly-created revenue districts Narayanpur and Bijapur both of which were police districts until now.

As per the General Administration Department order issued last night, the collectors of Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Sarguja, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Rajnandgaon and Jashpur have been shifted.

Raipur Collector Subodh Singh was moved to Bilaspur and State Cooperative Marketing Federation (MarkFed) Managing Director Vikasshil would take up Mr Singh's previous post while Bilaspur Collector Gaurav Trivedi became MarkFed MD. Raigarh Collector S K Raju was replaced by Mr Ram Singh Thakur as Mr Raju was posted as Director, National Health Mission.

Dhamtari Collector B P S Netam was moved as Deputy Secretary (Forests) and Mr T C Mahavar will take up Mr Netam's earlier post while Sarguja Collector Manoj Pingua became Director (Tribal Welfare). Mr Rohit Yadav was posted as Sarguja Collector. Mahasamund Collector S K Tiwari was transferred as Registrar (Cooperatives) while Mr S K Jaiswal was posted as Mahasamund Collector.

Rajnandgaon Collector R S Vishwakarma and his Jashpur counterpart Durgesh Mishra, who are undergoing training abroad, were posted as development commissioners in Bastar and Sarguja respectively. Mr L S Kain became Bijapur Collector while Mr S N Paraste became his Narayanpur counterpart.
