A committee constituted to avoid accidents in Rajouri-Poonch

Jammu, Apr 29 (UNI) To control the frequent accidents of passenger buses in the hilly districts of Poonch and Rajouri, the traffic department had evolved a three pronged strategy.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) traffic Raja Ajaz Ahmed, in a meeting held here, worked out the strategy to avoid accidents on sensitive Poonch Rajouri routes.

He constituted various committees comprising of revenue officers, district police, transporters and citizens to co-ordinate with traffic police for implementing the traffic rules strictly.
