914 staff nurses appointed

Bhopal, Apr 29 (UNI) After a gap of nearly a decade, the Madhya Pradesh Government has appointed 914 staff nurses.

Health Commissioner Rajesh Rajora said orders had been issued for the appointment of 714 nurses, including 203 unreserved posts, 154 posts for SCs, 133 posts for STs and 224 for OBCs.

Steps were being taken up for filling up rest of the posts for which counselling would be done on May 15.

Counselling was done for three days for appointment of staff nurses on April 26 during which 1,424 applications were received and 1,000 applications were found eligible after scrutiny.
