501 officers transferred in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Apr 29: After effecting a major reshuffle in top bureaucratic set up two days ago, the Rajasthan Government transferred 404 officers of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and 97 officers of Rajasthan Police Service(RPS).

The fresh transfers last night has led to major change in administrative bodies like Jaipur Development Authority(JDA), UITs, civil bodies and district and police administration in several districts of the state.

On April 26, the state government had ordered transfers of 35 senior officers of Indian Administrative Service(IAS), including district collectors of some districs.
