Welfare Dept distributes scholarship to Muslim students

Hyderabad, Apr 28: Andhra Pradesh Principal Secretary to Minorities Welfare Department M Chayaratan today distributed scholarships to the Muslim minority girl students here.

Speaking on the occasion, the official said the state government had allocated sufficient funds for the welfare of Muslims. All poor minority students would get post-metric scholarships during this year.

Stating that the government had also allocated funds for the unemployed educated youth for providing self employment, she called on the minorites to avail the benefits sponsored by the government under various Minority Welfare Schemes.
